The heart of the truck is the powerful Nitro Star 18SS engine. Rated at 1. The large. To handle the power, we've taken the proven long-stroke suspension and 4WD shaft drive system of the Nitro MT 2 and beefed it up with parts that are expensive hop-up parts on most trucks: heavy duty outdrives, heat treated differential gears, adjustable slipper clutch, heavy duty drive cups, universal joints, heavy duty axles and metal wheel hex hubs.

Adjustable stainless steel turnbuckles and steering joints are now standard equipment, as are high strength stainless steel hinge pins and alloy hinge pin braces. At the request of our customers, a larger cc fuel tank has been added. And, the new tank has been designed with a low profile, reducing the CG of the truck for excellent handling and jumping capabilities. The composite shock absorbers are longer both front and rear, and are designed for easier rebuilding while providing all the cushion a Nitro MT 2 racer could want.

The front shocks now feature a stroke of mm and the rears have mm. Stronger plastic parts all around continue the philosophy of the Nitro MT 2: more durability, more driving time! The servos and receiver are mounted on a sturdy removable radio tray that allows easy cleaning and maintenance of the truck.

We didn't ignore the style factor either - we provide a prepainted body with each Nitro MT 2! The flashy "Inferno" paint job in orange, red and black will get the attention at the track and in the hobby shop!

Prepainted, cut out and with decals already applied, it just couldn't get any easier for customers of any skill level. They perform great and look awesome! Includes radio gear and HPI T engine equipped with roto start.
